    • Welcome to the course

      Explore the traditional and emerging motives for firm to pursue international expansions, and to identify the major benefits of an international strategy.

    • Identifying international opportunity

      International strategy is a strategy through which the firm sells its goods or service outside its domestic market.

    • Foreign market entry modes

      A firm can enter international markets through exporting, licensing, forming alliance and establishing wholly owned subsidiaries.

    • Summary activities

      The aim of business-level strategy is to gain competitive advantage. The key of designing a good business-level strategy is that you should link your internal strength with external opportunities.

    Strategic actions - corporate-level strategy

    • Welcome to Week 2

      This week, we are going to explain what is corporate-level strategy, and then discuss diversification, a very important form of corporate-level strategy.

    • Diversification as a corporate-level strategy

      Corporate-level strategy refers to actions a firm takes to gain a competitive advantage by selecting and managing a group of different businesses competing in different product markets.
